Having to go through Rain and Sun, only can you get a Rainbow

Why do we need to go through life like everyone?? Am i not special enough to be or to do more than anyone?? i could get so hopeless sometimes.

Starting work as a civil engineer/Qs (mostly is doing QS work) :( only learning 1 semester of QS is not enough AT ALL. But i won't lie by saying that after 4 years of studying, i am still not confident in being a civil engineer. Gosh, i do need the motivation!! =.= But surprisingly, in just 8 days i managed to learn a lot of stuffs, more than i did in school..hohoho. Despite of that, i am still struggling and i do honestly wanted to quit my job on the second day at work. Everyday i just can't wait to end my job at five. Staring at the computer and figures and plan (especially to calculate the steel bars, there are soo many lines, that i can bet after 1 month my eyes gets the lines too) for 7- 8 hours straight really depresses me. I know, this is not the job i want to do. But what can i do as a fresh grad without any experience? no experience, no value. That is why everyday i told myself to gain as much knowledge as i can so that i may run away from that company.

Well, colleagues are sooooo passive, you do your own work, i do mine. everybody keeps quiet and do...arrgghh....i can't stand it.For example, they all assume i'm Chinese until they know my full name (which only 3 out of 9 knows). Can u imagine?

i know i know....be strong and be patience..but i still need to blurt everything out before i get crazy myself. Please don't mind of my complaining because i am still grateful of what i have ;)

With much Love and Care,
Joyce

♥♥♥ Mum's Love ♥♥♥

Its gonna be Mother's Day soon!!!

It's too bad than i can't celebrate it with my mum :( since i'm 13 hours driving away from her. Besides, i am having exams and presentations this month. You'r thinking that i'm gonna talk how i love my mum and all the things she had done for me. Actions speaks louder than words. (only mum knows how much i loved her not by just saying i love you but by making her happy)

I'm talking about all the mothers in the world. There are so many kinds of mothers, (seriously all kinds) but despites all differences, they carried you for 9 months (can you just imagine the weight?) then later suffer terrible pains and cried just to bring you into this world. You may take your mother for granted or hate your mother's nagging or advices or her poor sense of humor, or lack of understanding of your life. She is the only one in this world who despite who you are or what you did that is so wrong, she continues to love and defend you. Will your brother or sister or even friend do that to you when you are in trouble? Well, actions speaks louder than words.

In facts, there are many other children who doesn't ever experience a mother's love, who is there to care for them when they are sick, or cuddle them till they sleep, or cook nice home food for them, or pray for them??
Be thankful. Life is short. Your mother suffered hardship in life just to see you be someone who is successful and educated and has your own happy family.

You don't see or realize
1. Mum is the first to wake up in the morning to prepare breakfast for everybody and last to sleep every night cleaning up and prepare for her job the next day.( this is everyday)
2. When Mum nags, she wants you to do the right thing without going through the hard way.
3. Mum cries in her room locked when you unknowingly hurt her deepest and tender spot and yet come out smiling and continuous to love you.
4. Mum include everyone in her prayer for good health and God's blessing everyday
5. Despite how far you are, Mum thinks of you every second even when she is busy
6. When you are sick lying in bed sleeping, Mum prepare chicken soup and care for you even though she is secretly sick too.
7. Mum gives her last saving she has to you when you need it to buy things for yourself.
7. ETCs

There are many things we don't see, or realize how big a mother's love. And yet many were disrespect, being shouted at, and so on. No matter how tough you look or how confident or happy you are, when you are down in the slump, your mother is there waiting with big open arms to cuddle and comforts you.
Appreciates Your Mum.

Your Mum doesn't expect gifts or special treatment or special dinner on Mother's day, She is the happiest Mum on earth to see her children happy and successful and most importantly LOVE her back by showing it to her by calling her frequently when you are away from home, show that you thought of her when you achieves something or went somewhere, etc (You know it yourself)

Fence Story

*this was taken from BestRealStories

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence. The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence….Finally the day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The day passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, “You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. Remember, when you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry, the wound is still there.”

running out of energy

Yesterday was exhausting, just finished with my Finite Element Method exam and two more to go. Next Monday will be Project Design subject ~.~!!!On thursday will be transportation exam, and on friday is my presentation on my Thesis :(
Then i can be considered as F.R.E.E temporary

Few days ago, i was busy studying and chatting at the same time with my other friends, when the topic of Safety and Health course by Niosh surfaced.
He mentioned that the government has subsidized 4.4 million for fresh graduates to enroll in this course. One need to pay RM4k if is registered personally. The chatting continue with the pro's and con's of taking this course. All is based on other people's experiences and not 100% reliable since not everyone are the same.

Pro's:
1. A safety and health officer(SHO) is really in demand in all fields
2. SHO's pay will based on the the percentage taken from the total project worths >.< ( eq. if the project i'm managing is 2mil, my pay will be X% from the 2mil)
3. There will be elaun given (RM1K and below) every month of your training: i don't know why it is inconsistent
4. A good prospect especially for ladies if got SHO's cert, we need to compete with other males engineers in this fields.
5. A time to wait for your convocation. (mine falls on november 2011)

Con's:
1. The course will be for 6 months, 3 months training and 3 months industrial training.
2. The course include hard memorizing of Laws and Acts.(a very thick book i heard)
3. I heard and only just heard (so don't go and make this a fact ya) only 2% out of the class passed the exam. well, there are many reasons to cause the possibility.
4. The course will be starting beginning of Jun. How?? i gotta get my P first. :( give me a months la

Besides, gonna ask advices from here and there later >.<
I hope God will open the way for me after i grad. i seriously don't know wad to do.

psst..psst...psst...

There are skeletons in the closets.
It haunts you, makes you suffer, makes you cry
It stays in your mind, reminded you of who you are
trying to snatch away your laughter
trying to snatch away your hope
trying to snatch away your love
please please please
you begged
give me back my life
give me back my hope
give me back love
give me back joy
to me

When there is darkness
light will shine
when there is death
life came
when hope is gone
Jesus came
came to give you hope
came to give you love
came to give you joy
don't say no
'cause you'll regret it one day

R.O.A.R !!

i may be small but i am big and strong in the inside.

I will always remember this incident. It was many years back, i was in a youth seminar in a church in Miri called Canada Hill. Well, to cut short the story, i was kneeling down praying to God then a lady came over and prayed with me. After we prayed, she says to me,"even though you are young and small in size, but i can feel that the spirit in you is big, bigger and stronger than you know." (something like that, i can't really remember her exact words).

Well, at a young age, i faces attacks like insults, being bully, being looked down, being stab behind my back and etc. But I really thank God for letting me to face all those when i'm at a tender age because i grow up being tough, joyful, strong, forgiving, learning to put myself into other's shoe and learning not to hurt others (hihihi...i think but will improve more)

Growing up is painful but the tree of life will be fruitful.

When things aren't working out as you wish, be patient. Stop trying to move ahead of God. His timing is perfect. Trust Him.

me blabbering bout me

This is me and my journey in my life.... sweet reading ;)

Born in 1988 in Malaysia. Grew up with 2 older brothers and a younger sister in a small town called Bintulu. Life was sweet.

hmm....was wondering what to write bout me. well, i'm presently a final year undergraduate taking up bachelor in Civil Engineering in University Malaysia Sabah (UMS).

Woo...>.< still cant believe my eyes lor. wondering how can a petite size girl like me taking a degree in something so huge and gigantic???
School life was not easy on  to me. Cried buckets of tears of dissapointment just to reach this level in my life.
Really thank God for His mercy on me and opening doors one by one to reach up to this level.

my school life begins when i was 5 years old. Didnt remember much of my kindergarten time (play play play only)  but i sure do remember my dad who first introduced me to ABC and the learning of reading (love my dad)

Primary school was more of a suffering than a time of pleasure for me. Without any knowledge of reading nor speaking the language of my mother's tongue (since we speaks english at home) i was send to chinese school. how i survived in there... only God knows.=.=!!!
then later, went to the secondary school where my mum teaches....huhuhu... how can i behave???
after form 5, was selected to go for PLKN for three whole months, with only few weeks after my PLKN ended, i was offered to go to matriculation in Labuan for a year, then UMS in 2007.

thats the summary of my school life. my love life....i never dated anyone till 2006 (gosh!!!) hahaha....though i do have crushes here n there...(i wont be normal if i didnt)

i should end it here now...

love always,
 Joyce
